This is the first piece that inspired the series “Seen Not Heard” by jewelry artist Cindy Cornelsen. (Hey! That’s me!) The figure 8 is emblematic of the infinity symbol, the recognized symbol for neurodivergence. The colored stones represent the thoughts she has at any given time, and the few words that bubble to the surface. She may not speak much, but the pearl of wisdom demonstrates her experience and knowledge.
